Mobile Video Surveillance vs Remote Access Surveillance

Recently many people have the misunderstanding of these two different types of surveillance.

Using your smart phone to view your surveillance system is called remote accessing, which is similar to the remote access to the DVR using Internet.

Mobile Video Surveillance -  the DVR with the cameras are located in the vehicle and can be viewed on Internet or smart phones as the vehicle moves, showing the live images from the cameras, the GPS location and the speed. Different recorders can record on SD card, USB memory stick or external USB HDD.

Examples are busses, emergency vehicles, police cars, security guard vehicles, trains, boats, helicopters and more!

The live and recorded events can be remotely accessed while the vehicle is moving.

The mobile DVR has GPS, 3G, WiFi and G-sensor.

The video recording can be set up for:

                Auto recording

                Alarm recording

                Timed recording

                Manual recording

The Mobile DVR is a solution for home or business and especially for cottages without Internet access as long as there is cell phone coverage at the place.

Subscription to wireless communication is needed in order to view remotely the images and the recording.
